FBI Seeking Video Footage from Two Specific Dates
According to sources, investigators in the Nancy Guthrie kidnapping case are asking residents to provide any doorbell camera footage they may have from two specific days last month.
The FBI and deputies from the Pima County Sheriff’s Department issued the request Wednesday to people living near Nancy’s home in Catalina Foothills, a suburb of Tucson, Arizona, according to local stations KVOA and KOLD.
Authorities are particularly seeking video from January 11 between 9:00 p.m. and midnight, and from January 31 between 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., the stations reported. Media outlets added that a suspicious vehicle was spotted around 10:00 a.m. on January 31 on Via Entrada, near Nancy’s hillside home. No description of the vehicle has been released.
Meanwhile, the New York Post reported Wednesday that a black glove was found along the roadside, and investigators are now conducting DNA testing on the item.
It remains unclear whether the glove is connected to the masked intruder who allegedly abducted Nancy from her home in the early hours of February 1.
The FBI has released photos and video showing the suspected kidnapper wearing a ski mask and black gloves while lurking near Nancy’s front door. The suspect, who appeared to have a handgun tucked into his waistband, was captured on Nancy’s doorbell camera.
Several news outlets, including TMZ, have also received ransom letters demanding payment for Nancy’s safe return and revealing details about the alleged perpetrator.
