The catalyst for their reunion comes during the anniversary celebration of their original find. A seismic tremor rattles the Oregon coast, and the earthquake reveals a hidden, previously sealed chamber beneath the ruins of the old Astoria lighthouse. Inside, they discover not gold, but a tattered logbook and a new riddle—one that hints at a treasure far more significant, and far more dangerous, than mere doubloons. This new quest leads them to the chilling legend of the Infernal Mariner, a pirate ghost ship lost in the Pacific fog, said to hold not riches, but an ancient, powerful artifact.
