The Texas Rangers opened their three-game set against the Oakland A’s on Friday night at Globe Life Field. Nathan Eovaldi took the ball for Texas, facing right-hander Luis Severino for the A’s in a 7:05 p.m. Central start. The Rangers entered the game as -140 favorites.
