Taylor Swift has fans speculating about fresh music tied to the upcoming Toy Story 5 after a short-lived countdown with playful clouds popped up on her official site this afternoon. The timer vanished quickly, and her homepage is back to spotlighting her recent album, The Life of a Showgirl. During that album’s rollout, Swift often used similar countdowns to tease special vinyl editions.
Fans quickly captured screenshots and shared them online, sparking theories that the pop star might contribute a track to Toy Story 5, set for release on June 19. Swift has stayed quiet on her social channels so far. However, on April 27 she stepped out in a sky-blue Staud dress paired with a yellow Dior bag and signature red lip—colors that echo the countdown and film’s vibe, possibly dropping a stylish clue.

Earlier this week, The New York Times dropped a 30-minute interview with Swift where she opened up about her evolving songwriting. She talked about moving past packing songs with unspoken emotions aimed at real people in her life, especially the fictional storytelling approach she used on Folklore.

“I can only speak to me but as I’ve grown up, the intensity of the sort of no-pun-intended ‘message in a bottle’ nature of my songwriting has shifted and changed into something else,” she shared. “It used to be like, ‘I can’t tell a person how I feel so I’ll write it in this song.’ And that was really important for me at the time. It’s also important when you’re in your early 20s, and there’s someone you shouldn’t talk to… But for the Folklore album and everything like that…it was really more of just wanting to challenge myself as a writer.”
