Just Go with It 2: Trouble in Paradise (2026)

The lie may have ended years ago — but the mayhem, jealousy, and accidental deception are just getting started. Just Go with It 2: Trouble in Paradise reunites Danny (Adam Sandler) and Katherine (Jennifer Aniston) for a sequel packed with sunburn-level embarrassment, explosive misunderstandings, and the kind of romantic chaos only Hawaii can host.

Danny is older, softer, and happily married… yet somehow even worse at telling the truth than before. His heart is huge, his intentions are good, and his explanations? Always catastrophic. Katherine, now his razor-sharp, fiercely loving wife, balances his nonsense with eye-rolls powerful enough to trigger earthquakes. Their dynamic seems stronger than ever — until paradise tests them with a storm of ridiculous coincidences.

The real shock arrives in the form of Palmer (Brooklyn Decker), returning with newfound confidence and a glow-up worthy of a travel magazine cover. She shows up unexpectedly at the same Maui resort with news that’s equal parts personal, surprising, and deeply inconvenient for Danny — especially when Katherine finds out after everyone else does.

Danny’s harmless attempt to “keep the peace” spirals instantly out of control. One tiny misunderstanding turns into a full-blown disaster involving:

  • a jealous tech billionaire who thinks Danny is stealing his fiancée,
  • a resort-wide rumor that Danny and Katherine are breaking up,
  • Palmer being mistaken for a runaway heiress,
  • a fake engagement announcement that goes viral overnight, and
  • an enraged dolphin trainer who believes Danny owes him $12,000 and an apology.

Before long, people are proposing to the wrong partners, chasing each other across luaus, sabotaging spa treatments, and hiding behind tiki statues as the situation gets messier than a dropped acai bowl.

As tension boils over, Danny and Katherine must once again team up as the world’s worst improv actors — pretending, performing, and lying through their teeth just to make it through the trip without public humiliation… or divorce papers. Along the way, Palmer’s return forces the couple to confront old feelings, uncomfortable truths, and the real meaning of trust when life refuses to go according to script.

Blending heart with chaos, sunsets with slapstick, and romance with outrageous comedy, Just Go with It 2: Trouble in Paradise delivers a warm, goofy, laugh-out-loud reminder that love is messy, trust is fragile, and life is always funnier the second time around — especially when you’re stuck in Hawaii with your past, your present, and one exploding dolphin tank.
