The nightmare for Jaime Ivancic’s family started slowly. The 21-year-old simply stopped being seen in person, but her phone stayed active. Messages kept coming. Photos were shared. At first, it seemed like she was just busy or dealing with personal matters. No one imagined the worst.

Then Nealy took things even further. He traveled to Jaime’s family home, moved in with them, and lived alongside her loved ones — eating meals together and acting as if everything was fine. All the while, her family had no idea what had happened to her.
Over the course of two days, authorities say Nealy carried out a series of killings inside that same home. Jaime’s father (71), her mother (51), and her brother (25) were all killed. A welfare check eventually brought police into the home, uncovering the horrific truth. Investigators later searched the couple’s own property and found Jaime’s remains buried there, confirming the full scope of what had happened.

Nealy fled but was quickly tracked down and arrested. In 2025, he was found guilty of three counts of first-degree murder for the deaths of Jaime’s family members. He had already received a 30-year sentence for killing his wife. In April 2026, a judge sentenced him to death for the additional murders.
