The Office of the Director of National Intelligence has formally sent criminal referrals to the Department of Justice over the whistleblower complaint that triggered President Donald J. Trump’s first impeachment in 2019.
The referrals specifically target former Intelligence Community Inspector General Michael Atkinson and the so-called whistleblower whose complaint centered on President Trump’s phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

He wants to do what the bleeding heart hard left seeks when it comes to taking care of the homeless – but he wants to put a new homeless shelter in the artsy and “diverse” East Village, where there’s a lot of money and where he won by 40 points.

East Village residents who voted for New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani by a 40-point margin are now suing to stop a building in their neighborhood from becoming a temporary homeless shelter.
The lawsuit, filed with the New York City Supreme Court on Monday, shows hesitation even among Mamdani supporters about the cost of implementing some of his plans.
News of the lawsuit has prompted conservative mockery online, with figures like Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, noting the irony of Mamdani’s supporters turning on the fruits of his administration.
More than 70 percent of the vote in the East Village went for Mamdani. How fast they turned on their savior once he dared to think that they meant he could take care of one of their favorite virtue signals in their backyard.
The lawsuit against the homeless shelter raises several issues, including environmental concerns. Seriously? What environment are we talking about in that concrete jungle? Sure, the East Village has its parks, and it’s not entirely made up of brick and cement. However, if we weigh NIMBY against environmental considerations to see which one truly influences East Village residents, I would bet on NIMBY.
And honestly, can we blame them? I understand they don’t want a shelter full of homeless individuals in their neighborhood. However, the real issue here is not just the NIMBY mentality, but the hypocrisy and the complete misunderstanding of what they were voting for: a clueless representative from the far-left who has never held a real job in his life.
