The minivan keys are quiet, the nests are finally empty, and the kids are (mostly) grown and gone. But the chaos is just beginning. Bad Moms 3: The Last Detox reunites Amy Mitchell (Mila Kunis), Kiki (Kristen Bell), and Carla Dunkler (Kathryn Hahn) as they face their most terrifying, internal enemy yet: a full-blown, existential mid-life crisis.
Amy is struggling with the sudden, overwhelming silence of her home; Kiki is paralyzed by the realization that her life with her perpetually boring husband is now defined by matching beige sweaters; and Carla is convinced her best years were spent chasing exotic dancers, not worrying about cholesterol. Feeling old, tired, and deeply irrelevant, the trio impulsively pool their resources and book a week-long stay at “Nirvana,” an ultra-exclusive, $10,000-a-night wellness retreat nestled high in the mountains.

The entire sanctuary is run by the impossibly sculpted, aggressively serene lifestyle guru, Anya Skye (Kate Hudson), who enforces her militant vision of “toxic positivity” with the iron fist of a drill sergeant. Expecting luxurious mud baths, catered cocktails, and light self-reflection, the moms are horrified to discover Nirvana’s regime: mandatory silence vows, forced communal chanting at 4:00 AM, a strict kale-and-filtered-water-only diet, and, most criminally, absolutely zero alcohol allowed on the premises.
Naturally, this does not sit well with the unapologetic, hedonistic Carla, who views green juice as a direct assault on her personal freedom. What starts as a desperate journey to “find themselves” quickly devolves into a hilarious, covert operation to smuggle in industrial quantities of tequila, deep-fried snacks, and pure, unadulterated chaos.

The moms declare a silent war on Anya Skye’s forced enlightenment. Their rebellion leads to increasingly outlandish acts: from accidentally dosing the entire morning yoga class with hallucinogenic edibles (turning sun salutations into a psychedelic panic) to replacing the calming whale sounds of a sound bath with a full-on EDM rave. They accidentally sabotage a silent meditation session by debating the merits of different strip clubs and use a stolen golf cart as their boozy getaway vehicle.

Bad Moms 3: The Last Detox is a raunchy, heartfelt, and ultimately hilarious reminder that true wellness doesn’t come from a restrictive green juice diet or enforced silence—it comes from embracing your flaws, celebrating your messiness, and getting wasted with your best friends who accept you just the way you are.
