Jake Paul announces plans to do blackface in response to Druski’s Erika Kirk skit

Comedian Druski recently went viral after posing as a white woman in his latest skit, which many believed to be a reference to Erika Kirk, and Jake Paul has now responded by saying he will blackface

Jake Paul says he has already been in contact with makeup artists to help him do a blackface skit as he looks to respond to comedian Druski’s latest whiteface stunt.

Last week, Druski, whose real name is Drew Desbordes, 31, once again went viral after posing as a white woman in a skit mocking “how conservative women in America act”, with many believing he was playing a character resembling Erika Kirk, the CEO of Turning Point USA and widow of Charlie Kirk.

The video featured Druski in a white suit, blonde wig, and prosthetics, parodying Kirk’s appearance and mannerisms, making dramatic entrances with fireworks, and holding a Bible during interviews.

The video has received more than 185 million views on X alone since it was uploaded on March 25 and represents Druski’s latest white face skit, having previously gone viral for portraying a stereotypical patriotic American at a NASCAR-style event.

This week, Paul has come forward to reveal that he is now considering responding by staging his own blackface stunt, telling comedian Theo Von on his podcast that he has already been in contact with makeup artists.

“I wanna ask you something because, I’ve been, over the last couple of days, calling makeup artists, and I was gonna do a response to this,” Paul began on the latest episode of Von’s ‘This Past Weekend’ podcast.

“I was going to do the full-on…” Paul continued, only for Von to interrupt with “darker?”, to which the YouTuber-turned-boxer responded, “Yeah, and just do it back, because why not?”

When Paul asked Von whether he was on the same playing field, the latter responded that he was, though he believed Paul would need some kind of support on the character he wanted to play from someone like Druski or “Charles Barkley”.

Paul, however, wasn’t convinced of the idea, believing it was still “p—-ing out” and would make them seem more “prejudiced” if they had to “partner with someone”.

The 29-year-old, however, fully backed Druski’s recent skit and believes it is “how humans are supposed to be”, adding, “We should f—ing make fun of each other.”

Kirk recently spoke out about the internet trolling targeting her, and although she didn’t directly reference Druski’s skit, she made clear how she feels about the hate she receives.

“I really do not care,” Kirk told White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt this week. “There will be people that are like, ‘did you see what they’re saying about you on X?’ Like, no… I don’t have time. And actually, quite frankly, I really do not care.”

During an Easter lunch at the White House on Wednesday, U.S. President Donald Trump could be heard telling Kirk, “I think you should sue him”, though it wasn’t clear whether he was referring to Druski’s recent video.
