Today, we pause to reflect on the sacrifice and service of SFC Will D. Lindsay, a hero whose life was tragically cut short on March 21, 2019, while serving his country in Kunduz, Afghanistan. SFC Lindsay was a dedicated member of the 2nd Battalion, 10th Special Forces Group and was actively engaged in Operation Freedom’s Sentinel when he sustained the injuries that would ultimately take his life. His sacrifice is one that will never be forgotten, and his legacy lives on through the lives of those he touched during his time of service.
