Authorities believe the children may be with their mother, 29-year-old Makala Pendley, and all seven family members were last seen together on the same day, February 23, 2026.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is leading the investigation into this troubling case. The department is urging anyone in Indianapolis or beyond who may have seen this family to come forward immediately. The Indiana State Police Missing Persons Bulletin has confirmed this as an active investigation, and the children’s disappearance was officially reported the same day they were last seen. The AWARE Foundation has also been helping to circulate information about the case, but as of now, the family has not been located.
